As part of the University’s ongoing commitment to supporting academic achievement and encouraging student diversity, the University of Stirling is pleased to offer an awards scheme for international postgraduate students.
The offer is for students entering directly onto a full-time Masters degree programmes, delivered at the University’s Stirling campus, UK.
Application Deadline: 31st August 2017

- Eligible Field of Study: Any Courses offered at the University.
Eligible Countries in Africa: Ghana, Kenya and Nigeria
Other countries: Germany, Netherlands, Canada, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Malaysia, Norway, Kuwait, Oman, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, USA
Eligibility:
- Candidates who are self-funded and liable to pay tuition fees at the overseas rate.
Awards are available for students domiciled in, or nationals of these countries, subject to meeting country-specific academic criteria as outlined below:
- Ghana – minimum Second Class Honours (Upper Division)
- Nigeria – minimum Second Class Honours (Upper Division)
- Kenya – minimum Second Class Honours (Upper Division)
- Canada – minimum 3.3 GPA on a 4.0 scale
- Ghana – minimum Second Class Honours (Upper Division)
- Hong Kong – minimum Second Class Honours (Division I)
- India – minimum average grade profile of 60 percent
- Kenya – minimum Second Class Honours (Upper Division)
- Japan – minimum average grade profile of 75 percent
- Malaysia – minimum Second Class Honours (Upper Division) or 3.3 GPA on a 4.0 scale
- Nigeria – minimum Second Class Honours (Upper Division)
- Norway – minimum average grade profile of Grade B
- Oman – minimum 3.3 GPA on a 4.0 scale
- Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – minimum 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale or 4.3 GPA on a 5.0 scale
- Singapore – minimum Second Class Honours (Upper Division)
- Taiwan – minimum average grade profile of 75 percent
- Thailand – minimum 3.2 GPA on a 4.0 scale
- USA – minimum 3.3 GPA on a 4.0 scale
- Vietnam – minimum average grade profile of 75 percent

Value of Scholarship: £3,000 reduction in the overall tuition fee payable

2.Walton International Graduate Scholarships for International Students 2017
King’s College London
Deadline: 01 May 2017
Two scholarships of £4,500 are to be awarded annually by the Department of Theology & Religious Studies to full-time graduate students in the Department. The funds have been made available from the residuary estate of Miss E. R. Walton. Open to full-time MA and MPhil/PhD students in the department.
Scholarship is offered in the field of theology and religious studies. The main purpose of this program is to assist students of excellent academic calibre to continue their training beyond a first or master degree and to attract high quality applicants to undertake MA programmes or to undertake or continue research MPhil/PhD programmes at King’s College London within the Department of Theology & Religious Studies.

3. Monash High Achiever Awards for International Students in Malaysia, 2017
